You’ll find The Blue Bell at the heart of Cocking village, nestled just below the South Downs Way.
We’re a welcoming spot for walkers, cyclists, and locals alike, with a dog-friendly bar, a sunny garden overlooking the Downs, and a cosy pub atmosphere.

The bar offers a wide selection of spirits, beers, and real cask ales, alongside a warm welcome and good conversation. Inside, you’ll also find our small village shop stocked with basic essentials, treats, and local produce.

We’re always happy to share local knowledge and help you make the most of your time in the South Downs. Cycle repair tools are available on-site should you need a quick fix before hitting the trail again.

Free parking is available for patrons of the pub.
